Notes

Super-ExMerge uses MAPI to access contents of mailboxes and public folders in Microsoft Exchange and Office 365 as well as for access to PST files. MAPI is provided as inherent components of Microsoft Outlook, which is why the dependency for such exists.

Super-ExMerge does NOT use Outlook for its tasks. It only uses the MAPI libraries that are installed by the Outlook installation. As such, Outlook does not need to be licensed or activated on the computer.

Third-party and open-source usage

Super-ExMerge uses the following third-party and/or open-source elements:

  • SQLite
  • ZStandard compression
