Priasoft Releases updated version of the Priasoft Migration Suite for Exchange with Office 365 support

We are pleased to announce the availability of our Priasoft Migration Suite for Exchange with support for Office 365 based migrations. Our goal was to develop a full featured migration solution for Office 365 that included all the same features that our on premise version provided. This was no small undertaking since we could not simply wrap native Microsoft based tools to provide this capability. We have invested heavily in the Microsoft cloud and have delivered a best-of- breed enterprise grade offering for Office 365 to help our customers and partners quickly, safely, reliably migrate to Office 365.

Some key features of our Office 365 solution:

Dry Run capability

During an Office 365 based migration, you have the option to perform Dry-Run Migrations, as many times as you desire, PRIOR to executing the production Migration. The Dry-Run option performs all the same code operations as a production run, but sets up the target objects in an isolated manner so as not to interfere with normal business activities. This unique ability give you access to information that other processes (with other tools or vendors) cannot deliver. Total duration is most likely the most valuable metric gained from the Dry-Run. Knowing up front how long a migration will take – down to the minute – is a powerful data point.

In addition, you have the opportunity to flush out and identify environmental issues like mailbox data corruption, adjust for network latency related issues, or infrastructure challenges BEFORE the live migration.

Back-Fill Migration capability

Cloud based migration pose new challenges for large amounts of data specifically due to network latency and off-premise connectivity. Using the Back-fill capability, you have the option to cut-over mailboxes initially migrated with all Calendar, Tasks, Journal, and Contacts, plus zero or more days of mail based on requirements (i.e. 90 days). Once the user is live in Office 365, the reaming mailbox data will be back-filled reducing the time to go live for end users moving to the cloud.

Two-way Public Folder Synchronization to Office 365

Priasoft’s PFSync is an application that can be configured to synchronize a single folder or a branch of folders between on premise and Office 365. Multiple folders can be selected for sync, with or without subfolder recursion. PFSync will use a multi-process implementation to allow the sync to be scaled up or down for performance.

Outlook Client Profile Updates

The Priasoft Outlook Profile Update Manager is the only complete solution on the market for automated updating of your Outlook clients’ profiles and includes the Real-time Profile Migration Monitor that give you the visibility to monitor the update process – so you always know where you are in the process giving you the ability to be proactive vs. reactive.
